I keep imagining my own funeral like a young girl might imagine her wedding day. Before take-off, I make a playlist of all my favourite songs and send the link to the family group chat as a way for them to remember me. My family have never heard of post-rock music before. They reply with a question mark, then a sad emoji. I fear if something were to happen, they might forget all about the playlist and instead play the kind of music they thought I liked, so I send the link again to make sure they’re taking me seriously.
